Internet Dating. I just don't get it, and I probably never will. Can someone please explain the phenomena? I understand the desire to find your "soul mate", and I also understand that people in general are shy about meeting new people and talking about themselves. Therefore are they left feeling that they are better matched finding someone? Anyone? A life partner? An erotic obsession? Or what have you, online and in the privacy of there own home, or maybe in your home while your not looking. Have you checked out how sticky the keys are on your keyboard lately? So their they are alone at night or possible at work in the height of the day, scanning away at the various people seeking people ads, online dating services, ect.
My question is do you really find love that way? Or is it just lust? What is it? Is it the feeling that you get from communicating in that specific manner, that drives us humans to interact with each other in that way? Is it our natural hunting instinct? I'm full of questions, I have no answers.
